I ordered the brushed brass pulls and loved them so I ordered a second set. I was bummed the second order is a different sheen. The first was more of a matt brushed brass. The second was a glossy gold finish. I am returning the second and reordering. Hopefully, it was just a fluke.

Is the underside of the handle smooth and solid across also?
Answer: Yes. They are great handles. Well made and heavy. We have had them up for a year now and are still as good as new
Are they solid or hollow inside ?
Answer: They are solid. Very nice used them for a renovation project
Is your 5.39 inch pull the same size as 5-1/16 (128mm) size pull I see listed more commonly?
Answer: I just measured a spare 5.39 pull I had and the screw holes are 5-1/16 apart
